LAS VEGAS--When the Gourmet Housewares Show gets underway Tuesday, May 6, buyers will be able to easily identify exhibitors with sustainable products by looking for the Green by Design sign.
From materials used in the design of products, to new products that reduce amounts of waste--"going green" is one of the big trends hitting the upscale housewares market "We are thrilled to highlight those exhibitors that uphold green standards by recognizing them with a 'Green by Design' display during this year's show. Sustainability has become a way of life and we are proud that our industry--particularly this show--maintains and continues to pave the way with new sustainable products that are diverse, functional, and highly unique," said Susan Corwin, vice president and show manager, in a prepared statement.
