"Coatings have changed so much from years ago," said Ken Evans, president of Lancaster Colony Commercial Products, the U.S. distributor, based here.

With a suggested retail price of $50-59 for each piece, the line is targeting the high-end gourmet store market. Rectangular and oval roasters in two sizes are available.

Francisco Marques, export manager with Saint Gobain Vidros S.A., said the line has been in development between two to three years and was launched in Brazil, where the line is manufactured, last October.
