Concord Cheese Shop starts emailing monthly newsletter
CONCORD, Mass.-After years of posting its monthly news online, the Concord Cheese Shop launched its first e-newsletter in June.

In an email message, Peter Lovis, owner, said he has been "passive" in posting his news on his gourmet store's Web site for four years. "But I have realized that there are more people that want to read it, but don't take the time to come to my Web site, so I have crossed the line," wrote Lovis.

In other news, Lovis organized a tour of eight cheesemakers in Vermont and Massachusetts for a dozen of his customers. Scheduled over two days, the motorcoach tour made stops at farms that make cow's, goat's, sheep's and buffalo's milk cheeses.
