Dickerson and Solari, founders of the San Francisco Bay Area-based sales and marketing firm, 3D Cheese Company, have established themselves as knowledgeable proponents of artisan and farmstead cheese working with Redwood Hill Dairy, Neal's Yard Dairy and Jasper Hill Farm. After eight years, they've decided to join Cowgirl Creamery.

Dickerson said Tomales Bay Foods made the 3D team a "generous offer" back in April, and as a result 3D Cheese is closing its doors. The marketing firm wraps up working with Jasper Hill Farm in August. "I am ready to get back an stand with the cheese every week," said Dickerson.

Dickerson, Solari and Sande are concentrating on building sales for small cheesemakers at the Cowgirl Creamery shops and through Tomales Bay Foods' wholesale accounts.

Sande focuses on sales outside of the San Francisco Bay Area from her office in Las Vegas. Sande also helps her husband Bob Howald run Valley Cheese and Wine, their family's gourmet shop in Henderson, Nev.
