NEW YORK-The Food Emporium BridgeMarket hosted a VIP media cocktail reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony June 19 here to commemorate the return of their Taste of Nature collection, a selection of Austrian gourmet specialty foods. This is the second year that Food Emporium will carry the Taste of Nature collection and customers will see a lot of the same products as last year as well as a variety of new items.

"There are many reasons why we decided to bring back these products, including the high quality of the products and the wholesomeness, as most of the items are all natural. In addition, the uniqueness of the products along with the price value and even the packaging all contributed to our decision to bring back these products and expand the selection to include even more items," said Michael Corsello, senior merchant for Food Emporium.

Corsello also noted that "during the first Taste of Nature in 2008, the products were received phenomenally, so bringing the collection back was the next logical step."

Many of the items featured are hitting the U.S. market for the first time and are exclusive to Food Emporium, said Michele Kruchkowski, vice president of Mastro Communications, the PR firm representing Food Emporium.

The array of products includes Cafe Gerstner Chocolates, Golles Vinegars, Wolf Pumpkin Seeds and Pumpkin Seed Oils and Hanauer Chocolates and the prices range from $1.99 to $88.
