Tree of Life unites global vendors at show in Dallas
DALLAS- Tree of Life's International Show, held here in June, brought together 358 vendors from around the world showcasing their wares in a three-day event.

Independent retailers and supermarkets sampled a variety of Tree of Life-distributed products such as cheese, nuts, spices, soups and confections at more than 400 booths.

"This was a great show for us," said Kathy Riviera, account manager and team leader for Badia Spices, in a prepared statement. "There were a lot of new opportunities, a lot of new customers and new products. It's even inspired us to think of more creative ideas for our own line. The show is well worth it - we'll definitely be back next year."

In addition to creating business, participants also donated generously to Midlothian Senior Citizen Food Pantry, a Dallas food bank, after the show, with an estimated 50,000 pounds of food contributed by the exhibitors.

The by-invitation only show, in its 22nd year, was held at the Hilton Anatole. Plans are already underway for next year's show at the same location.

"We're glad that our guests had a great experience at this year's International Show," said Jim Atkisson, corporate marketing program manager for Tree of Life, in a prepared statement. "It's an honor to be able to host such an amazing group of brands, retailers and customers from around the world. We can't wait to do it again next year."
