Surf Sweets expands retail distribution
PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Ill.-Surf Sweets, all natural, fruit-juice infused gummy candies, recently expanded the distribution of its products into Harmons and Sweetbay Supermarket grocery stores.

The organic candies will be sold in most of the 13 Utah-based Harmons stores and in many of the 102 Florida-based Sweetbay Supermarkets.

Both stores now offer a variety of Surf Sweets' gummy candies and jelly beans, including Gummy Bears, Gummy Worms, Organic Jelly Beans, Sour Worms, Organic Fruity Bears, Gummy Swirls and Sour Berry Bears.

"We are extremely pleased about our new partnerships with Harmons and Sweetbay Supermarket," said Bert Cohen, CEO, president and founder of TruSweets LLC, the parent company of Surf Sweets, in a prepared statement. "We're seeing increased consumer demand for Surf Sweets all over the U.S., and Florida and Utah are certainly no exception."

Surf Sweets can also be found in more than 1,000 select grocery stores, natural foods stores and specialty retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

TruSweets was founded in 2008 by Bert Cohen, who wanted to make all natural and allergen-free products. The company acquired Surf Sweets in 2008.
