Fresh & Easy announces March dates for five Sacramento stores

Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market has announced opening dates for its first five stores in the Sacramento region. Two Sacramento stores will open on March 7, with Lincoln, Elk Grove and Folsom stores opening on March 14. The stores are expected to create 100 jobs.

A subsidiary of British grocer Tesco, Fresh & Easy opened its first stores in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada in 2007. The company entered the Northern California market last year and now has more than 180 stores.
