Zagat ratings now integrated into Google+ Local search results

Specialty food retailers included in the Zagat guides should check their Google+ pages.

In a bid for a bigger piece of the local advertising pie, Google+ Local is integrating Zagat's numerical ratings and reviews in its local search results, the first clear result of the internet giant's purchase of the pioneering dining guide company last September.

The new Google+ Local replaces the previous Google Places; pages can be claimed and updated by the business owner to ensure correct and complete information.
