Yoplait USA takes over sales of Liberte yogurt in the U.S. in July |

In July, Yoplait USA assumes operation of premium Canadian yogurt brand Liberte in the U.S., launching Liberte Mediterranee and Liberte Greek.
The fastest growing yogurt business in Canada, Liberte is owned by France's Yoplait SAS, in which General Mills purchased a 51 percent stake in 2011. This summer will also see Yoplait's national launch of Mountain High All Natural Yogurt, already a large segement leader in the Western U.S.

The two are among 40 new products that Yoplait USA will be launching this fiscal year, according to a post on General Mills' corporate blog. Products for grocery will include Yoplait Greek 100 (for 100 calories), Yoplait Simplait (from six simple, all-natural ingredients) and Yoplait Fruplait, blended with fruit.
