Drought could raise US meat prices by more than 10 percent per year - Smithfield Foods president Larry Pope
In an interview with the Financial Times, Smithfield Foods president Larry Pope said that the corn shortage from the ongoing draught could push US meat prices up by "significant double digits," or more than 10 per cent per year.
