Eataly, the specialty food retail/restaurant complex in New York City, enjoyed gross revenues of $70 million in its first calendar year, according to a report in the New York Times (http://nyti.ms/OMCZuy).
The report notes that second year revenues are predicted at $85 million, "a huge number, $1,700 per square foot per year," according to restaurant consultant Malcolm M. Knapp.
