Mamma's Best Foods acquired by Versant International

Versant International Inc.has completed its acquisition of Mamma's Best, LLC, an organic natural foods company based in Irvine, California. Mamma's Best produces quality organic barbeque sauces, marinades, soups and spreads that are available at Sprouts, Whole Foods and specialty grocers.

"We are thrilled to acquire such an innovative, health conscious, food company to our list of portfolio companies", said Versant Chairman and CEO Glen W. Carnes. Based in Newport Beach, CA, publicly traded Versant is a financial holding company with a solid performance record of identifying unique and scalable acquisitions.
