The Pasta Shoppe rolls out seasonal pastas for election, college athletics
As candidates debate and college football teams clash, retailers can come out on top with two lines from Nashville-based The Pasta Shoppe.

In time for national conventions and debates, the company has introduced two Limited Edition pastas: Republican and Democratic Pasta. Pasta shapes are party specific: either an elephant or a donkey and a capital R or D, with stars and in offical party colors. Each package includes party trivia for fun and positive conversation, plus a recipe for All American BLT Pasta Salad.

Each bag contains pasta shaped like the school's mascot or logo, in the official team color, as well as a Game Day Vinaigrette mix. The 16 oz. packs are sold in cases of 12, with an SRP of $5.99. More information is available at www.pastashoppe.com or by calling 800.247.0188.
