National Chocolate Show announces speakers for Nov. 16-18 show |

The National Chocolate Show has announced its prelimiary speakers' lineup, led by industry leaders from the National Confectioners Association (NCA), Blommer Chocolate Company, Mars USA, World Cocoa Foundation, and more.
The trade-only show will run in conjunction with the consumer-focused Chicago Fine Chocolate Show, as the industry's only dual trade and consumer event. Both shows will run at Chicago's Navy Pier from Nov. 16-18.

 All the sessions are free to those who register before Monday, Oct. 15. After that, those who have not registered for sessions will pay from $25 to $25 per session (depending on the number of sessions attended).
The sessions are: Industry Trends and Tasting, Rose Potts, Corporate Manager of Sensory and Product Guidance at Blommer Chocolate Company; Chocolate Deconstructed, Susan Whiteside, Vice President of Communication for NCA's Chocolate Council; Food Safety Risks and Controls for Chocolate and Nuts; Treat Right: The Role of Chocolate in a Healthy Diet; and Regulations and Rules for the Chocolate Industry: FSMA, FDA, and You, all by Laura Shumow and Zara Khaleeli, Directors of Technical & Regulatory Affairs at NCA.
Additional speakers include Mars USA's Chocolate Research Fellow Ed Sequine, who will share his work and experience at A Cocoa Scientist's Life of Cocoa Exploration, and the World Cocoa Foundation's Timothy S. McCoy, who will share the organization's initiatives by moderating a panel of industry experts within the chocolate world.
