Chef Alain Ducasse joins the iPad age with a comprehensive new application, "My Culinary Encyclopedia."
The app's 280 recipes are divided into five cuisines (Gastronomic, Around the World, Mediterranean, Bistro-style, Desserts) and four major food groups (Vegetables, Grains & Cereals, Sea, Land). Users can also add personal notes, create and send shopping lists and add their own favorite recipes.

 Other features include more than 180 detailed ingredient profiles, including 360 degree views, learning everything there is to know about the ingredient you are cooking (origin, varieties, seasons, how to select and store, nutrition and cooking preparations); 40 cooking utensils with images and explanations; more than 100 technique videos of the chefs from Ducasse Education.
