UNFI East has added Italian Foods Corporation's organic vegetarian Bolognese pasta sauce, shelf stable stuffed pastas and fruit balsamic vinegar from Modena.
Based in Providence, R.I., UNFI East now is carrying the USDA organic La Piana Vegetarian Bolognese Pasta Sauce, La Piana Ravioli with Squash and Mezzaluna with Basil Pesto, and La Piana Fig Balsamic Vinegar, said Francesca Lapiana-Krause, sales director. UNFI East also recently began carrying Italian Foods' line of Bronze, Silver and Gold aged balsamic vinegars of Modena.
