Chen is the creator and former owner of Joyce Chen Products, a line of Asian-inspired cookware. Chen sold the line four years ago, and she has been working with Harold Import Co. in the last year to develop this new line. "When Helen became available to work on this opportunity, the ideas just came naturally," said Laub. "We worked with Helen to develop products--some that have never been on the market before."

The line will officially launch at the International Home and Housewares show in Chicago, March 11-13, where Chen will be on-hand at the Harold Import Co. booth to introduce the products. The line will be ready to ship in April, and the initial rollout will feature 40 SKUs including woks, bamboo steamers and strainers, said Laub.

Founded in 1957, Harold Import Co. carries nearly 3,000 kitchenware items, available globally to specialty retailers.
